There are not to many types of masonry repairs that get more expensive than the repair of deteriorating brick paving. It used to be that tradesmen knew how to build things that would last… for decades or maybe even a century or two. Missing joints in your brick paving need to be fixed promptly!
Brick paving in this area fights an uphill battle. Unless it is religiously maintained in will enevidable fall into disrepair in a relatively short period of time. So if you’re looking at your brick paving that’s been there for 25 years and never has been touched… don’t hold your breath for having it repaired. Mold & Grime

This area is one of the worst for mold and grime and given enough time you will find it growing on just about any piece of masonry ever constructed. Is it bad? Well, yes. Beside the inherent health risks it can pose to children (which we can’t address here) the damage, though not immediately obvious, can be severe. To much water in any masonry surface is just asking for trouble. Read more
